Rio Tinto’s air conditioning assets across residential properties and FIFO village accommodation were ageing and energy inefficient.
Bennco Group recommended a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant solution to replace existing Hydrofluorocarbon refrigerants. The benign, organic and non-toxic refrigerant has near-zero global warming potential and suits air conditioning units of different types, models and ages.
Bennco completed detailed asset audits, identified maintenance requirements and replaced the existing refrigerant across the asset suite. A dedicated project management team coordinated the works to minimise disruption to residents and employees.
